No matter whether you prefer a pure beach holiday or wondering around monuments from the Roman Times, this Northernmost African country has it all. From fascinating sandy beaches trenched in sunshine to grand ancient ruins and the vast rolling dunes of the Sahara, Tunisia encapsulates everything that is enticing about North Africa. If you are in the pursuit of happiness it is right here that you will truly find it, in this charming country known for its pleasant Mediterranean climate characterized by warm and sunny days.

A tour in Hammamet

It is in Hammamet that all the meetings will be held, in this dreamy place which is Tunisia’s top sun and sea resort where lies a beautiful sun-kissed stretch with soft, white sands and crystal-clear waters.

Hammamet gives the visitors freshness and a relaxed rhythm of life. It is the city of the Jasmine and orange trees, of different savours and various tastes. In fact Tunisian cuisine combines elements of Turkish, French and Mediterranean cuisine together with amazing seafood. Tunisian meals are rich in spices and full of flavours and the most notorious meal is Couscous which is the national dish.

Moreover, you will enjoy an authentic experience in the strenuous and gentle strolls as you will delight also in shopping in the restored old town souks.

To sum up, Hammamet is a no stress kind of place that sums up the pleasures of Tunisia in one pretty package

A trip to Tunis/ to the Capital

The trip to Tunis starts from Habib Bourguiba Avenue which is the main artery of the capital, of tourism, shopping, cultural and artistic events to the National Bardo Museum.

The Bardo National Museum

It is the place where you will certainly be impressed by this Husseinid architecture masterpiece of the Nineteenth Century. It is the place to visit to learn about the history of Tunisia where you will undoubtedly be captivated by its magnificent collection of Roman mosaics which provide a vibrant and fascinating portrait of ancient North African life.

It is a showcase of the dazzling, intimate artistry of the Roman and Byzantine eras with pieces cherry-picked from every major archaeological site in Tunisia.

If you only have one day in Tunisia’s capital, Tunis, this museum should be high-up on your to-do list. Also you will be amazed by Tunisia’s captivating history in our next destination which is Carthage

Carthage

Tunisia is an important crossroads of civilization therefore it is hard not to be amazed by the country’s colourful past, it is part of what makes the country the wonderful destination it is today.

In Carthage, History lovers will still enjoy the most impressive Roman ruins including Roman baths, a cathedral and an amphitheatre. These Unesco World-Heritage listed remnants are hugely important historically and any tourist interested in North Africa’s ancient past shouldn’t miss a visit here.

Sidi Bou Said

Impossibly cute and amazingly photogenic, Sidi Bou Said is a cliff top village that seems fallen off an artist’s canvas especially with its whitewashed alleyways, wrought-iron window frames and colourful blue doors.

Sidi Bou Said is really just the one main road, going up the hill, ending in many fantastically situated cafés overlooking the Gulf of Tunis and the marina of Sidi Bou Said.

The surrounding area is very beautiful and idyllic making it the perfect place to shop for souvenirs.
